Victorian Tea Party

Port Jefferson Dickens Festival
ach year as December begins, light fades from the sky and chilly, crisp air seeps into gardens, heralding the changing of the season. In celebration, the Port Jefferson Dickens Festival beckons to one and all with the Yuletide tradition of High Tea, complete with gorgeous live music, at the First Presbyterian Church.

Our Victorian Tea has become, in the last several years, a tradition at the heart of the Dickens Festival, a revival of the Victorian era involving the entire village during the first weekend of December. As you walk down Main Street, don't be surprised if you meet Ebenezer Scrooge or any of the nineteenth-century inhabitants of Port Jefferson—sea captains, sail makers, and more—and watch out for horses and carriages!
